We are calling on one-thousand families to join the Human Rights and Social Justice Now section of the parade. This section of the parade will follow the Say Their Names section, being the most important part of our parade convoy.

March with us in acknowledgement of our God-Given Human Rights, Social Justice, Judicial Reform, Stop The Violence Now, Freedom, Liberty, and Justice for all!
 We are asking that all participants create their massages on large posters that reenforce the call to action.

We will miss him as we continue to work with his beloved Marching Baltimore Christian Warriors. This year parade is dedicated in memory of Reverend Ernest King of Baltimore Maryland! RIP

Presented In The Heart Of Georgia!
2023 Parade Route: The parade starts at 228 Capitol Ave SW, at the Liberty plaza, across the street from our state Capitol building. The parade will move up Capitol Ave to Decatur Street and make a left turn onto Decatur Street, Decatur Street turns into Marietta Street and continues down Marietta Street to Baker Street, Makes a right turn on Baker Street, and makes a right turn on Centennial Olympic Park Drive and concludes at Centennial Olympic Park. Join the festival at Centennial Olympic Park!

1.) 140 Decatur Street SE, Atlanta GA 30303 
ANF Broadcast and Performance Area
2.) Intersection at Decatur and Peachtree
Parade Midpoint
3.) Marietta Street and Centennial Olympic Park Dr.

Juneteenth Atlanta Parade & Music Festival is a non-profit organization established in 2012 to contribute to the social and economic development and overall enhancement of the people. Sponsorships, donations, and Entry Fees are collected only to help cover the costs of conducting the Parade and Music Festival that has always been free to the public. Juneteenth Atlanta staff and volunteers are committed in giving back to the community by organizing the parade and festival as a celebration of heritage, pride and community spirit. PARADE REGISTRATION INFORMATION
To register your group in the parade, fill out the Parade Entry Form found below. For those entering vehicles, let us know, under description of unit on the form, how many vehicles will be in your group. Vehicle fees are $25.00 to enter. If entering a large number of cars, such as a car club,  let us know your count and we can provide you with an invoice upon receiving your form. All payments for the parade are final! We do not refund payments made to participate in the Juneteenth Atlanta Parade! Funds received go out to cover the expenses and do not remain idle in an account. However if you make a payment to participate and for what ever reason outside of our control can not attend that fee can transfer to a following year.

Parking in Piedmont Park is limited to the New SAGE Parking Facility. We strongly encourage visitors to use Atlanta’s public transportation MARTA, or ride share, or plan for a designator drop off and pick up driver for your group.

Traveling by MARTA:
Upon exiting the Midtown Station, take 10th Street towards Peachtree Street and continue on 10th until you reach Piedmont Avenue. Turn left on Piedmont Avenue and walk two blocks to the 12th and 14th Street gates of Piedmont Park. (or you can continue walking on 10th Street and the park will soon be on your left side).

Exit the Arts Center Station heading south on West Peachtree street for one block. Head east (go left) on 14th Street for three blocks until you reach the 14th Street entrance to the Park.

Traveling by Bike/on Foot:
Park entrances open to pedestrians and cyclists include:
Park Drive Bridge (access Park Drive from Monroe Drive)
10th Street & Charles Allen (park runs along 10th Street from just west of Monroe Drive on 10th Street to a block short of Piedmont Avenue & 10th Street)
Piedmont Avenue & 12th Street
Piedmont Avenue & 14th Street

Wheelchair Accessibility
The following park entrances are wheelchair accessible: 12th Street Gate; 14th Street Gate; Charles Allen Drive Gate; Park Drive. In addition, the following buildings and areas are disabled-accessible: Piedmont Park Conservancy Offices; Magnolia Hall; Piedmont Park Conservancy Community Center; Visitors Center; Tennis Center and Oak Hill.


​Traveling by car: 
The SAGE Parking Facility is now open and the surface lot at Piedmont Park is being returned to green space. The parking facility is operated by the Atlanta Botanical Garden and is available for visitors to Piedmont Park and the Garden.
