JUNETEENTH ATLANTA 5K FREEDOM RUN

Prepare yourself for Juneteenth Atlanta 5K Freedom Run, Walk, Roll and Crawl!

Juneteenth Atlanta is running for freedom, liberty, human rights, social justice, judicial reform and world peace and you're invited! Run, Walk, Roll or Crawl for freedom and human rights!

From the start line to the finish line, anyway you want to do it! 

Let's run, walk and roll for the freedom line in tribute to all those who fought/fight for freedom and continue to fight for the human rights of all people, everywhere, all the time!


Event details and schedule

RACE START TIME: 5K - 9:00am

COST: 5K - $30 until May 31 @ 11:59pm then $35.00 

COURSE: Starts and finishes at Centennial Olympic Park running through downtown Atlanta. Comes out on Marietta Street passing the College Football Hall of Fame to Tech Parkway to Lucky Street to Baker Street. The course continues on past the World of Coca-Cola and passes Skyview Atlanta over to Marietta Street back into Centenial Olympic Park Drive while passing the olympic fountains.

EARLY PACKET PICKUP/REGISTRATION:
Saturday, June 17th - Will be at Centennial Olympic Park. Exact location TBD
Race Day - 7:30am to 8:45am at Centennial Olympic Park - next to the visitor center.

TShirts:  All participants will receive a race tshirt.

AWARDS:  Award catagories TBD All participants will receive custom, die cast finishing medal.

then the south is where we need to have the largest commemoration and celebration.
Atlanta, Georgia is the magnet of the southeast! ​
​We are collaborating with our southern neighbors to bring about a Juneteenth celebration for the universe:
