Tommy Phenom |
Meet Tommy Phenom Unique Rock & Soul BandFrom the depths of his soul comes a sound that stirs up and revives the greatest era of the grittiest roots music. Tommy Phenom's persona is reminiscent of the great Lenny Kravitz, while his artistry has been likened to the young Prince. He humbly embraces these accolades and has continually perfected his unique sound which has carved out what feels like a new genre. The lyrics that he writes and belts out while persuading his guitar to deliver soul-stirring vibrations are full of emotional depth that is well beyond this prodigy's 20 years of life. It's no wonder because Tommy Phenom was born with what is called an "old soul". At the age of 11, his gift began to emerge as he showed an interest in music; specifically, drums and piano. Without any training, he was able to play simple chords and daily taught himself to play the guitar. Within three years he began to play for local artists around Atlanta, GA where he was born. With deep roots in both Georgia and Philadelphia, PA, The Phenom was influenced by varying genres of music from southern rock & soul to gospel. Currently releasing an EP entitled, “The Love on Drugs” which will consist of various tracks, that will enlighten the sounds of music for the next generation. |

Aqeela Reyad |
Meet Aqeela Reyad "Q"Once in a while we have the unique opportunity to embrace a purely original artist. Aqeela Reyad, better known as Q, is that opportunity.
Born and raised in the nation’s capital (by the way of New York and Miami), Q has been in love with music since her mother introduced her to vinyl albums on easy Saturday mornings. She became engulfed and hypnotized by the sound. She realized her musical gift when she joined the elementary school glee club, but truly found her sound in high school while singing hooks for local artists. Here, Q realized the potential and possibility of creating and producing music. She writes and records her own music. Her album, Ta Heaven, is a compilation of music, which she calls Galactic Soul—a mixture of classic soul and her transcendental sound. Her stage presence and acts have developed via national performances. Q’s soul has called out for her sound and style, for the perfect fusion, the sweetest harmony; and she is present to provide it. |

A songwriter, music producer, vocal arranger and choreographer, Queen CJ, A.K.A. LoveCJMusic, creates conscious music for the masses. She produces almost all of the songs performed in the annual Juneteenth celebrations. Empowering Black people and building self-esteem in communities of color are expressed in all of her music. Noted Gospel superstars like Marvin Winans, Lisa Page Brooks and Deitrick Haddon have all been under her choral direction and rigorous instruction. The musical roots don’t begin there, CJ’s grandfather, Melvin Howard, has performed with legends like Cab Calloway and Sarah Vaughn on some of Harlem’s main stages in the 1940′s. Queen CJ has traveled around the world, performing in London, Belgium, Dublin and Rennes, just to name a few. She toured the states for over a decade with the “Queen of Soul,” Ms. Aretha Franklin, as one of her dancers.
