​​For centuries Afro Hair and Afrocentric dress has been deemed substandard and unfavorable. Over the years we have seen a consistent and growing interest for healthy natural hair and Afrocentric fashions. We advocate self love and understanding for African roots and culture thus we bring you All Afro Atlanta! This event is not about a person, It's about a people united!

ROYAL ALL NATURAL BRAIDS
You will be judged on the following:
1. Model, Neatness, Parting, style, and technique, artistic design
2. How your creative design relates to a part of our history
3. Hair adornments are permitted to enhance or create style
4. Wigs or hair pieces are not permitted.
5. Glue fusion or adhesive are not allowed
6. Presentation, makeup, attire, and overall artistic design
 The following guidelines will help you with preparing your model(s): Elegant, beautiful, dignified and royal are a few adjectives that would describe the winner in this category. This category will look at the creativity in the artist to design artistic designs with natural hair, as it relates to a part of our cultural history. The use of hair pieces and extension are not permitted. Hair color, and adornments are permitted to enhance or create style. Artist that are competing want to focus on presenting a design that signified a part of our past but at the same time using their creative talent in bringing out the future in their creative design without the use of added hair and hair pieces.
 
CREATIVE LOC STYLING: Saturday June 17, 2023
Report at amphitheater to prep model at 10:00am

You will be judged on the following:
1. Model, Neatness, Parting, style, and technique, artistic design
2. Glue, adhesive, Loc extensions, are not allowed
3. Hair must be locked
4. Presentation, makeup, attire, and overall artistic design
The following guidelines will help you with preparing your model(s): Your model’s hair can be short or long. The style is more important than the length of the locks. Only locking/ twisting techniques allowed in this competition. Because we are looking for creativity hair adornments are permitted to enhance or create style.
 
WORLD’S BEST BARBER: Friday June 16, 2023
Report to amphitheater stage to prep model at 11:00am
Report to stage to walk at 1:00pm sharp
You will be judged on the following:
1. Model
2. Fade 
3. Transition
4. Shape-up
6. Beard
7. Presentation, makeup, attire, and overall artistic cut
The following guidelines will help you with preparing your model(s): This battle focuses on clean and traditional haircuts. First, the finishing style must be a true low fade. Second, the length on top of the head must be at least 1.5 inches on top and bald on side. Barbers are judged on speed, blend, and cleanliness of line. Competitors competing in this competition want to focus on the overall look that will compliment the model such as full groomed beards, attire, and the model’s ability to showcase your art.

violence, profanity, racial epithets and misogyny

then the south is where we need to have the largest commemoration and celebration.
Atlanta, Georgia is the magnet of the southeast! ​
​We are collaborating with our southern neighbors to bring about a Juneteenth celebration for the universe:
