Get On Up! | Get Into It! | Get Involved!
As we observe the ongoing assaults on Black History Month, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Juneteenth, and the broader narrative of Black History in America, it is imperative for all who cherish democracy and freedom for every individual to unite in a way we have never done before! We are calling for support from all corners of our state of Georgia to come together in honoring and recognizing the historic freedom fighters, as well as to celebrate the significant accomplishments that have taken place throughout time, despite the relentless efforts to erase that history!
Join us at Atlanta City Hall on February 26th, 2026, for our public address and fundraiser celebrating Juneteenth. Discover all about the future plans of the Juneteenth Atlanta Parade & Music Festival and learn how you or your organization can get involved! The evening will feature food, networking opportunities, the official report of Juneteenth Atlanta, and, of course, essential fundraising efforts.

Together with NJOF, Juneteenth Atlanta advocated for the Juneteenth holiday legislation, successfully passing it through the senate, the house, and ultimately reaching the president's desk to establish it as America's newest and most important holiday! Juneteenth Atlanta hosts a three-day music festival featuring two - three major stages, a 5K Freedom Run, and a Black History Freedom Parade that champions Human Rights, Social Justice, Liberty, Judicial Reform, Reparations, Status Correction, and Freedom!
