AFROATLANTA© Natural Hair Parade Float

"Look deep within, carry yourself well, embrace your legacy, maternal mother of all things remembered and forgotten!  Our HAIRITAGE is forever!"  -BOB

For centuries Afro Hair and Afrocentric dress has been deemed substandard and unfavorable. Over the years we have seen a consistent and growing interest for healthy natural hair and Afrocentric fashions. Our goal is to stay a part of the movement for self love and understanding for African roots and culture thus we bring you Afro Atlanta Natural Hair Parade Float!

Natural Hair Lovers: Get ready for the natural hair float! The only requirements is that you have natural hair. All age groups and genders are welcome. Minors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult or a brother or sister 17 years in age or older.

The parade float seats 15-20 people and comes amplified.  Who ever can not ride on the float can walk directly behind the float. The route is only 3-miles. If necessary we can take turns riding or walking. Participants are encouraged to create posters and signs that represent natural hair with creativity. Participation fee is $15 per person.
